MANUAL THERAPY
Manual physiotherapy is the specialty of physiotherapy in the field of orthopedics. It has always been defined as the art and science of the treatment of dysfunctional neuro-musculoskeletal conditions in the human being, by means of analytical muscular and joint manual manipulations based on the biomechanical study of the same, including those of high speed and short range of movement.
Manual therapy consists of the application of specific manual techniques applied with the best tool we have, our hands. It includes a wide variety of techniques and aims to improve the functional situation of the patient, his resistance and strength and muscular coordination.
